Renan Botelho is the senior Digital Editor for Footwear News and WWD, reporting on the latest fashion trends and celebrity style. He began his over 14 years career in digital media as a writer for MSN Entertainment in Brazil and, since then, has contributed to publications like Yahoo! and Rolling Stone BR. Previously to joining the company in August 2022, Renan was also a digital marketing coordinator for different fashion photographers. He received his Bachelor's degree in Journalism from the Methodist University of São Paulo and has specialized in Transmedia Storytelling at the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo and in Dramatic Arts at the Superior School of Arts Célia Helena. He currently resides in New York and you can find him enjoying picnics alongside the East River with his husband.
