If running with Mickey Mouse is a dream of yours, you might be interested in Brooks‘ new partnership.
The running brand announced Tuesday that it is the official running shoe of the runDisney race series, with the partnership starting in 2025. This collaboration, Brooks explained, was formed via a “shared belief that running can create powerful emotion, camaraderie and connection.”
What’s more, with this multiyear collaboration, Brooks confirmed it will create Disney-themed running shoes featuring popular characters.
“The energy that running unlocks is powerful, and there’s no better illustration of that than the energy you experience at a runDisney race,” said Melanie Allen, Brooks senior vice president and chief marketing officer said in a statement. “We are very proud to work with runDisney and can’t wait to create more magic together for runners everywhere.”

With this partnership, Brooks stated it will offer shoes and provide official race shirts at runDisney race weekends starting in 2025. And in addition to the shoes, Brooks stated it will design jackets in 2026 for Club runDisney members.
According to Brooks, there are six race weekends between Walt Disney World Resort in Florida and Disneyland Resort in California as part of the runDisney race series, as well as virtual races. Theses weekends include 5K, 10K, 10-miler or half marathons, as well as challenge events (including a 10K and a half marathon) and a health and fitness expo. They also include yoga, kids races and post race parties during select events. There is also the Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend that includes a full marathon.
Brooks also stated there are more than 170,000 runners that participate in these race weekends each race season.
“This collaboration allows runners to marry their passion for the Disney brand with the creativity, technology and running industry expertise that is synonymous with Brooks,” Adam Ball, vice president of runDisney, said in a statement. “We are already busy brainstorming on the many ways we can continue to elevate the Disney running experience for the thousands of recreational and dedicated runners who participate in our runDisney events every year.”
