The First-Ever Places + Faces Sneaker Collaboration Is a Reebok Classic Leather

Places + Faces has transformed from a Tumblr photo blog into a lifestyle, music and photography company. Now, it can add sneaker collaborator to the list.

Reebok has teamed up with the UK-based company for its latest collaboration, coming together to reimagine the iconic Classic Leather. The two-shoe collab for fall 2024, according to Reebok, reflects both of their “deep roots in global streetwear and pop culture” and the Classic Leather was remixed “with modern design twists.”

Their collaborative effort is replete with reflective elements, which is a Places + Faces signature, as well as vintage-inspired details. It will yield two colorways — one in black and another in chalk, silver and white — and come in custom collector’s boxes.

The two Places + Faces x Reebok Classic Leather collaborative shoes arrives Oct. 23 at 10 a.m. ET via Reebok.com and Placesplusfaces.com. They will retail for $130.

“The inspiration behind this collaboration is rooted in our personal experience,” Places+Faces
founder Imran Ciesay said in a statement. “Growing up in the UK, Reebok’s Classic Leather was a staple, constantly seen in music videos and worn by cultural icons. We wanted to create a shoe that not only reflects the DNA of Places+Faces, but also stays true to its versatility and iconic status. The reflective details are a nod to our early designs, making the Classic Leather the perfect canvas for this collaboration.”
