A$AP Rocky’s Next Puma Sneaker Will Come Heavily Distressed and Introduce a New ‘Flacko’ Logo

A$AP Rocky and Puma are collaborating on the Inhale for the second time this year. And where the first faithfully recreated the model’s original colorway, the second has put the archival running shoe through the ringer.

The A$AP Rocky x Puma Inhale will release at the end of the month with a heavily distressed look. A tonal khaki treatment carries through the majority of the canvas and suede sneaker, while red accents include a new space age-inspired “Flacko” logo on the tongue, as well as the laces. No portion of the sneaker appears like it’s been spared from wear, as smudge marks throughout suggest the Inhale has been put through the rigors of a garage. Scuffs are also scattered with less frequency, and the translucent outsole takes on a yellowed tinge.

Marks for A$AP Rocky only appeared on the insoles of 150 random pairs of the Inhale OG sold earlier this year, which will make the newer variant the first with wide availability. The rapper is also the creative director for Puma’s Formula 1 line, but none of the sneakers to come out of that avenue have featured branding for him either.

This new iteration of the Inhale first appeared on the runway in June for Rocky’s AWGE show at Paris Fashion Week, in addition to another pre-distressed variant in white, black and gold that’s yet to receive any release details.

The presentation was called “American Sabotage,” and Rocky said in a statement: “American Sabotage is more than just a brand – it’s a movement. We’re wrecking boundaries and making statements through every piece, reflecting the spirit and resilience of our communities. This is fashion with purpose, where art meets activism.”

The distressed A$AP Rocky x Puma Inhale will release September 26 through Puma’s website and select third-party retailers. Pricing is set at $120.
