Supreme’s Nike Air Max DN Sneaker Releases This Week

Nike’s yet-to-be-released Air Max DN already has a Supreme collaboration in the books.

The New York City streetwear brand revealed its Air Max DN will release before Nike’s global launch of the silhouette. Supreme renders the Air Max DN almost entirely in black, as its reflective logo appears faintly across the mesh upper’s lateral side. Green forms the heel counter and midfoot shank, while the new Air Max unit is rendered clear and colorless with Supreme’s logo printed across and on the bottom. Small logos are also added on the tongue and heel badge, as well as the red insole.

Deviating from its normal pattern, Supreme will release just one colorway for this sneaker collaboration.

Watch on FN

Nike tapping Supreme so early on the Air Max DN shows how much it wants the sneaker to be a hit, as the streetwear brand tends to favor more obscure or old Nike models.

The new Air Max model was first revealed at the beginning of February, and its defining Dynamic Air technology is made up of two pressurized chambers, each with two tubes, at the heel. The back two tubes feature higher pressure than those in the front, which is supposed to make the shoe more responsive as you stride. Injected phylon foam then surrounds the Air unit for additional comfort and support.

The Supreme x Nike Air Max DN will release Thursday, Feb. 22, through Supreme’s website and stores. Pricing has not yet been confirmed but will likely be around $160.
