Nike and Social Status have revealed the fourth and final colorway of their Attack collaboration.
For the first collaborative collection of the recently retroed Nike Attack sneaker, the footwear brand partnered with Social Status on not one, but four new colorways. The shoe silhouette, which hasn’t been redesigned in almost 30 years, now takes on the final colorway, the “Status Symbol”.
The fourth style of the collaboration includes a white premium suede and reflective mesh upper. Social Status added black accents that dressed the Swoosh symbol and the detachable nylon ankle collar and heel panels.
A pop of color came from a special green Social Status x Nike logo at the top of the tongue. The sneakers will be packaged in a special edition bodega-inspired shoe box, connecting the set to Social Status’ latest short film.

The sneakers were first revealed in the final episode of Social Status’ “The 1st & 15th” story, which is a coming-of-age story of a character named young Q who navigates trials while also holding onto his ambitions. The “Knowledge of Power” segment follows Q as he goes through a crossroads and gets through it through his own strength and people in his community. The streetwear brand added to this theme through a soundtrack that recognizes North and South Carolina local artists, which connects the series to Social Status’ history.
The Nike Mac Attack was first designed for tennis player John McEnroe in the 1980s. It was reissued in the original gray colorway last June, months after the collaboration was teased by NBA star P.J. Tucker. Since then, the set has only been reimagined through this collaboration, which featured a Wimbledon-inspired colorway.
The Social Status x Nike Attack “Status Symbol” sneakers will retail for $140 when it is released on March 8 exclusively on Social Status’ website and in stores nationwide.
