Hannah Waddingham may have played the owner of a soccer team in “Ted Lasso,” but she’s also a tennis fan in real life. The British actress was seen at day three of Wimbledon on July 3, wearing black wedge sandals with a bright floral dress.
“The Fall Guy” actress selected a vividly colored dress from Elie Saab for the tennis competition. Made of silk, the V-neck halter dress transitioned from a black and purple design at the top to white on the bottom half, with brilliant violet-hued flowers and greenery splashed across the skirt. The dress also featured pleated fabric which gathered and crossed over at the waist to create an elegant V shape. A thin black belt with an ornate silver buckle adorned the waist as well.
For part of the day, Waddingham added a layer to the outfit with a classic black blazer, which picked up the black accents in the floral dress.

Waddingham further elevated her summertime look with a pair of platform wedge sandals. Along the base, they featured the cork-like beige material of a classic wedge. With a minimalist design, the shoes included black leather straps across the feet; they were designed with a subtle pattern reminiscent of reptile skin. In classic black, they easily tied every part of the outfit together, from the jacket to the dress.
Waddingham enjoys a well-made heel. She wore Louboutins twice recently, slipping on a sharp light blue pair for “The Fall Guy” premiere in April and a metallic gold pair with dainty X-shaped straps for an appearance on “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert” around the same time.
Wimbledon always attracts well-dressed stars to watch the best in tennis face off against one another. Jameela Jamil wore a navy blue and white Reformation dress with white slingbacks featuring a block heel on day one of the championships this year. Meanwhile that same day, Poppy Delevingne wore gold sandals with a white and cream-colored ensemble which featured a blazer and wide-leg pants.
