Carrie and Miranda are back at it again. Sarah Jessica Parker and Cynthia Nixon were filming “And Just Like That” on location on Oct. 21 in New York City, where they both modeled colorful outfits with whimsical high heels.
The striking looks featured in “And Just Like That,” the Max reboot of HBO’s “Sex and the City,” are curated by costume designers Molly Rogers and Danny Santiago. For this stroll through the city, the wardrobe team dressed Parker in a hot pink satiny dress featuring buttons at the top and a ruched skirt with a knot to the side.
Nixon, meanwhile, leaned into autumnal hues with a pleated midi skirt with an abstract pattern featuring orange, yellow, brown, black and white. She also wore a wide brown belt and a high-neck long sleeve blouse in a vivid shade of yellow.

Parker appeared to be wearing white lace-up heeled shoes from Dries Van Noten. Notably, the shoe was very low-cut at the top — without much of a shaft, it in some ways resembled a classic pump. However, the upper did cover the top of the foot, a crucial feature veering the silhouette into boot territory. The shoes featured thin laces criss-crossing through subtle eyelet perforations. They were also designed with a square toe and a thicker-than-usual stiletto heel, not necessarily hefty enough to be considered a block heel. The back enclosure and heel provided the shoe with a convex outline, another unique element of the silhouette.
Meanwhile, to match her warm-hued outfit, Nixon wore a pair of peep-toe pumps from Alexander McQueen. The shoes featured a brown upper with an amber color accenting the sides; slender cut outs along these dark yellow sections added textural variation to the look. Some of the shoe’s classic pump features included a stiletto heel and low-cut upper.
Season 3 of “And Just Like That” has been in the process of filming for some time now, with Parker, Nixon and Kristin Davis all reprising their roles from the original show; the cast has been seen around New York in recent months wearing quintessential “SATC” fashions.
Pictured above, for example, Parker wore a pair of paint-splattered overalls over an NYC subway-themed top, an ensemble paired with bejeweled pumps. Nixon wore a classic Miranda look including a high-waisted skirt, knit top and shell-adorned high heel sandals.
From shiny purple heeled sandals to black Mary Jane heels seen on set this year, Carrie Bradshaw and co. are sure to impress when Season 3 hits Max in 2025. See some of the looks that have been captured thus far below.
