Salma Hayek Tries New Pastel Look in Ballet Pink Satin Platforms at Valentino’s 2025 Show During Paris Fashion Week

Salma Hayek attended Valentino’s 2025 “Pavillon des Folies” show held yesterday in Paris.

The “From Dusk Till Dawn” actress sported a pair of light ballet pink satin platform sandals, likely hailing from Valentino. A favorite of footwear choice of Hayek’s, the platform featured rounded open toes, thick platform soles and thin ankle straps threaded through adjustable buckle closures. Sky-high 4 to 5-inch block heels finished off the set. The thespian can usually be found in similar silhouettes in a variety of styles from brands like Gucci and Jimmy Choo.

The silhouette worked to elongate her frame, creating the illusion of length. Additionally, the pink satin hue coordinated well with the pastel color pallet Hayek was working with for the show. This styling trick of creating height and dimension is one utilized by many stars including Ariana Grande, Florence Pugh and Sofia Vergara. Whether these stars are looking for a boost in height or a sophisticated footwear silhouette, platform styles of all kinds offer both in spades.

Paired with her lofty footwear, Hayek was dressed in a lavender lace dress that gave flapper vibes, equipped with long sleeves and sparkling appliques. The star also sported a floral brooch, strings of pearls ala Coco Chanel and a silk head wrap, likely all courtesy of Valentino. The accessories worn by Hayek were also seen on numerous other show attendees.
