Heidi Klum picked up a trophy on Wednesday night in Germany. The star won in the Entertainment category at the Blauer Panther TV & Streaming Awards at BMW Welt in Munich. For the evening she put on a little pink dress with an oversized train as well as a standout variation on one of 2024’s big shoe trends.
Klum’s shoe was the Jimmy Choo Tabatha sandal. The shoe is from Jimmy Choo‘s Drop Heel collection — meaning that it has a stiletto heel with a bulb at its base, resembling a drop — Naomi Watts recently wore black pumps from the drop series. In addition, the upper of Klum’s sandal is composed of one belt strap as the front strap as well as a belt strap on the back in a slingback silhouette. Both straps, as well as the rest of the base, are made of silver metallic Nappa leather. The front strap is also embellished throughout with crystals.
The heel itself is almost four inches tall. The Jimmy Choo Tabatha sandal is currently sold for $1,750.

The slingback silhouette is one of 2024’s trendiest silhouettes alongside the mule. This week, Uma Thurman wore two pairs of black slingbacks in one night at one event. In particular, the Gianvito Rossi Ribbon stiletto — which, like the Tabatha is an open-toe sandal — has been quite popular. WNBA star Angel Reese wore a pair to the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show this year, Naomi Scott wore them to a premiere for “Smile 2” and Ayo Edebiri wore them to this year’s Emmy awards.
Both the Tabatha and the Ribbon mirror the aesthetic of Aquazzura’s So Nude heel which was worn by Sarah Jessica Parker on set for “And Just Like That…” earlier this summer. Also sported by Meghan Markle earlier this month, the So Nude does not include a buckle on its back strap like the Tabatha and Ribbon.
