Sarah Jessica Parker‘s fall 2024 calendar is packed. Fresh off of filming for the next season of “And Just Like That…” the actress made a stop at the God’s Love We Deliver Golden Heart Awards on Monday.
Held at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine in New York City, the event played host to her co-stars Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon, as well as Michael Kors and other notable names. For her look, Parker went all black in a lace strapless dress, sheer jacket as well as a pair of sheer shoes.
Parker’s shoes were a trendy slip-on style. They were the Gianvito Rossi Rania mule. That style features a pointed toe sole. It also has a sheer upper crafted of silk organza finished with a suede trim. The organza is also embellished with 1,450 crystals.

The footwear is an open toe mule and features a stiletto heel of just over three inches. Rossi sells it for $1,395.
The shoe combines two long-running trends. Sheer shoes have been trending for quite some time now, either rendered in see-through PVC styles or in translucent fabrics like the organza found in the Rania shoe. It’s quickly becoming a wardrobe staple. But more importantly, the silhouette of the shoe is a mule which is a style that trended throughout 2023 and seems to only have increased in prominence in 2024.
Alongside slingback shoes, mule styles have taken over red carpets as well as fashion show front rows, even being worn by celebrities in their off time. The trend also shows no indication of slowing down as mules were seen on multiple spring 2025 runways.
But it’s not only the fabrication and silhouette of the shoe: Gianvito Rossi has been having quite a moment in dressing celebrities as of late. This year, the company celebrated a decade of its Portofino sandal which is a bestseller for the brand. In fact, Parker wore the shoe earlier this month.
In addition, the company’s Ribbon stiletto, which is a slingback, has become quite popular. Naomi Scott, Dua Lipa and Ayo Edebiri, among others, have been spotted wearing them as of late.
